Randal Moore

CEO

Everyone meet our Franchise CEO Randal Moore!
Randal grew up in rough lower income areas around Richmond, VA and later moved to Myrtle Beach, SC with his mom and younger brother looking for a better life. He went to school and began his business career by opening his first auto restyling shop in Myrtle Beach, SC. Randal also obtained his real estate license which he thought would be his actual career. This was a key highlight of his business and industry knowledge. Randal found his success in the Myrtle Beach market quickly become the #1 tint and audio shop in the Grand Strand. In 2014 Randal decided he wanted to open the 1st Black Optix Tint store in his hometown of Richmond VA, it quickly became the#1 tint shop in the area. The business model spread like wildfire and developed into the multimillion-dollar franchise you see today, all started by our CEO! When we met with Randal, we asked him what would set Black Optix Tint apart from other tint and audio companies. His answer was superb “we will separate ourselves with a proven business model centered around customer care. Our team is second to none and our franchise will quickly become a household name.” We asked franchisees what made them choose Black Optix Tint and all the answers circled back to Randal Moore. “Randal has offered me nothing but support” “I want to work with Randal the sky is the limit” “I’ve seen a life I’ve always dreamed of after using Randal’s business model”. Randal’s business mind and experience installing/operating makes him very relatable and helps separate Black Optix Tint from any other franchise! In his free time Randal enjoys helping his franchisees grow, searching for new locations, and coordinating training for new stores. You may ask yourself, that’s not free time? Randal dedicates his free time to the growth of the franchise and the grow of dedicated entrepreneurs so they can see the same success he has!

Kent Adams

Franchise Development & Operations

Meet Kent Adams, partner Black Optix Tint Franchising, Franchise Development & Operations Specialist. Kent grew up in Fredericksburg, VA, later moving to Midlothian, VA where he became connected with our franchise CEO Randal Moore. Before Black Optix Tint Kent has been involved in his own franchise ownership in various fields. He has 30+ years in franchise development, ownership, and consulting. Most impressively, Kent is a top 1% producer as a business broker and M&A advisor. As the franchise grew adding Kent as a partner was a no brainer! When we asked Kent what made him choose Black Optix Tint his answer was simple “I got involved with Black Optix Tint because I have had a lifelong goal of owning and developing a top-notch franchisor operation. With Randal and Black Optix Tint, I now have the perfect business partner and brand.” Adding to it Kent stated, “The auto tinting and restyling industry is very fragmented, and I feel we bring a high level of professionalism and consistency to this market.” When asked what sets Black Optix Tint apart. The positive effect of Black Optix Tint has just begun for Kent as he continues to pursue his personal goals, help provide an amazing opportunity for motivated entrepreneurs, and create a lasting impact on our communities! When Kent isn’t working on strategizing future plans for the franchise, he enjoys spending time with his family, high intensity workouts, learning about different types of businesses, and on Saturdays you’ll see him in his burgundy and orange. Donnelley Koy

Administrative Coordinator

When it comes to customer care our Administrative Coordinator, Donnelley, is second to none! She is originally from Richmond, VA, but currently working out of Winston-Salem, NC. Before Black Optix Tint she was a stay-at-home mom. Black Optix Tint has given her an opportunity to get back into the work force while having a healthy work-life balance. Her role is responsible for customer relations and helping with quality control of employee satisfaction within the shops. When asking her what she likes most about the franchise she stated “What I love most about Black Optix Tint is the amount of respect my team has for one another. It’s a great feeling going into work knowing the support I have from my team.” When she isn’t making sure all of our customers and staff is overwhelmingly satisfied you can find her cooking, enjoying her family time, or unwinding reading a new book!

Coby Movahedi

Franchise Operations Manager

When you talk about dedication within the company you instantly think of Coby Movahedi. He is the Shop Manager of the Myrtle Beach, SC location, the first store within the franchise & Franchise Operations Manager. Originally Coby is from Sacramento, CA then relocating to Myrtle Beach, SC. Before Black Optix Tint Coby Movahedi was an astrophysicist hence his love for installing starlight headliners! When asking Coby what made him choose Black Optix Tint he raved about his passion for vehicles and car audio. “I’ve always had a niche for car audio and learning new things” following up on that we asked him what he thinks sets Black Optix Tint apart and he stated, “The franchises combined experience and knowledge of the industry combined with the passion of everyone on our team.” When Coby isn’t in the shop or helping the franchise grow you will see him relaxing playing a round of golf or supporting his J-E-T-S JETS, JETS, JETS on Sunday’s!
